Your Partner Being There For You

My poem is about a girl I once loved. Her name was Harley. I fell in love with another girl during our relationship and broke up with her. Now that I look back, I realize that she was more than enough. She was everything I would have ever needed, but I threw that away. So this is a poem for the people who want to show just how much they love their partner.

My Love, My Queen

You are my love, my life, and my queen.
You possess all the love, care, and hope that I will ever need.
We may part at one time or another,
But I can promise you that I will never find another lover.

You shine brighter than the sun,
as beautiful as the clear sky moon,
and you smell like a blossom at its full bloom.

I just wanted to say I love,
in this I have no doubt.
But without you, my hands are bound.
Without you, it is hard to breathe,
and when I am with you
my mind is at supreme peace.

I say these things because they are true.
Baby, I never want to see you looking blue.
I can't live without your love,
and you're always there when push comes to shove.

Wow, this poem made me remember my first relationship. I loved my boyfriend so much and showed care, but he kept cheating. I knew but never asked for a break-up. Then after some time he ended the relationship. I was hurt, but the funny thing is that he came back, begging me to come back to him, but it was too late. He is still begging, saying he regrets leaving. It was a 1 year 2 month relationship.

Yes Mabel, you're right, sometimes we do fall for the wrong people and our care isn't appreciated. But maybe sometimes we just have to let go. I am letting go of something I once valued.
