Nearing An Ending Of Cancer

There is a special man
That I'm about to lose
A man who has been there
And a man who just knew
I was a special girl
And he took me as his own
He made me who I am today
And he has seen how I have grown
He is a man I love so very dear
A man who makes you smile whenever he comes near.

A special man I call my own
And for that I say,

As days and nights pass
You will never be alone
For I am always here
And here I shall stay
To help you on
Your journey
Until that very day
