I hate people who’ve hurt me
so you’ll never hear me say
I must love them harder.
I know that
people are cruel
and that
isolating myself will make me happy
I refuse to believe that
people do love me.
I’m ashamed of loving so deeply.
No longer can I say
I deserve abundant love.
