To My Dearest Mother

My mother is a special part
Of all that's cherished in my heart,
She is my pearl, my soul, my mate;
She is the one to make life great.
She is an angel without the wings,
Who makes life special with the littlest things,

Whenever I'm in need of love,
She is there from the heavens above;
Whenever I'm in need of a shoulder,
There's no one as devoted as my mother.

Her presence and love have always been there,
Everything in her nature is to only care.
With every soft hug and kiss
The world seems more beautiful and blessed.

I'm sorry for all the times I caused you pain,
But after these brief storms my love still remains.
I love you so much,
I will love you forever-
I wrote your name on my heart
And it will stay there forever, and ever...

My mother passed over 15 years ago. She became my best friend after I became an adult. We shared many great times together. Truly she was a sweet and kind soul and loved every person she met. Daily I think about her and the sting from her death is no longer there. Her spirit resides in me and this is what keeps me standing. I am proud to be my mothers' daughter.

My story is just like yours. I left my 2 kids to do drugs also, but know I'm clean going on 6 years. God is good and I'm still trying to have a relationship with my boys but it's hard. They are still angry with me but I will never give up that one day we will be a family again and have that mother and son relationship. I love them very much, always have and always will.

Stay strong for them. Your Children are there for you like you should be there for them. Just continue to pray to God because he's the only one who can change the situation.

My mom left me when me and my older brother were just babies. She would rather do drugs and sleep with men to steal money from them... not to support a family but to buy her drugs. She left us with strangers one day and our step dad came and destroyed everything in and outside of the house. The police came and put us in a foster home. You were there until I was about 2 years old. Mind you I was a little child so my memories aren't there. I have an awesome family now and they love me. My brother turned 18 and left to go back to them.. mind you I was just a baby.. so all these stories came from my mom and dad and everyone in my family now.

I'm happy you had a happy life. In the end that's what matters. Just because she had you doesn't mean she was ever family. Family doesn't have to be blood. She did you a favor; in some twisted way, when she left you. It's a shame your brother didn't see it that way. Best of luck to you!

Well my mom left on my first birthday. I miss her but I still get to see her. I love her to death and her name is written on my heart. I don't get to see her very much anymore but she is amazing. Love you mamma.
