Boyfriend Poem

Hi, I'm Raquel and I like to write poetry and this poem was inspired by someone I've been in love with for awhile now. We've had our ups and downs, but we still love each other.

Me And You

Me and You
Against the world
You're my man
And I'm your girl
Holding on tight
Because it all seems right
You and me
Under the stars at night.
Me and you
Have been through a lot
But through it all
Our love didn't stop
We held each other down
Until the end
And never let anything
Rush us to the end.
Me and you

You're my man
And I'm your girl.

  • This poem reminds me of my boyfriend of 7 1/2 yrs. At the moment he is incarcerated and I always write him poems and he says they bring him joy & comfort knowing I'm thinking of our love.
