The strongest kind of friendship is when you know that even the biggest fight has no chance to ever break you up.

Best Friend

Through tears and fights,
Through smiles, I knew everything
Would be alright,
Through love and hate,
Through betrayal and debate,
For you I would always have faith,
Being your sister as well as your
Best friend I knew
This friendship wouldn't end,
By your side I would always stand
And you'll stand by mine too,
Because that’s what best friends do,
So no matter what happens with us
In life,
Through all of the wrongs
And all of the rights,
I’m here for you to be a best friend that’s true,
Cause I love you and that’s what
Best friends do.

  • This is like so true me and my mate have been best friends for like 5 years and I wouldn't change a day of it. She has been there thru thick and thin with me we have our fall outs but they don't last long. Don't know what I would do without her to be truthful, we have many memories and many more to come I hope :)

  • Hi. I love my best friend even when we have an arguament. We even write poems to eachother just like this one. I would never change one day of our life because even when someone tries to get in the way, we ignore them and carry on the same. I love you Danniella. Xxx

  • I love this poem it has touched my heart. I met my Best Friend when we were picked to sit at the same table when we were in 2nd grade age 7 or 8. Now looking at us now age 31 it has been a wonderful journey. She is getting married next April and I am right there next to her the whole time it is my job she is truely the most important person in my whole life.

  • I really like this poem it kind of took me back through all the bad times I have had with my friends and then again they were always there by my side no matter what. They taught me wrong from right. That's what best friends are for. I really don't know what I would do with out my friends in my life I love them all.

  • Well me and my bestfriend tabby have been friends since 2004 I am 6 month preg and me and Tabby had a fight I'm no longer talking to her but she has text me telling me she's sorry for being a bad friend! What do I do? I miss her and love her so much I just want her to know I need her more than anything right now that nothing should get in the way of our friendship again because I don't wanna get hurt again!   • Me and My best friend are currently in a huge fight. But this poems reminds me of our friendship. When we fight we always make up and when we do we always come out of the fight stronger. Always have. I mean I hope we come out of this fight all right. I love my best friend with all my heart, but right now it doesn't seem like we'll become friends again. But that's how I always feel when we're fighting.

  • Me and my bestfriend have been friends since 6th grade. We're both in 12th now. We've had our ups and downs but we're still best friends. We stopped talking after we reached high school, but we're now back in each others lives. We had an argument two days ago, I really thought we were done. But, I apologized and told her how I felt. She told me that she really loves me and doesn't want us to stop being best friends. And that I will never lose her as a bestfriend, she'll always be there. That really made me cry because this just shows me that she's a true friend. I really thought I lost her as a bestfriend but she realized that people make mistakes. She's a keeper and I love her so much. Our argument actually made our relationship stronger. I hope in the future, we will still be best friends. :)

  • This poem is so true I've been friends with my best friend since freshman year in college an she's the best. She's always there for me when I need her and the same goes for her I'm there when she needs me I never knew I could trust someone so much but that's what I get for having the best friend ever!!!   • Me & my friend were besties since kindergarten & we stopped speaking in 12th grade. We haven't spoke in 2 years till the other day; the other day she hit me up on fb & it shocked me! I'm glad we're speaking but I want to jump & go back how we used to be. I love her insanely and I wish it was possible to besties again. But when we speak its different..

  • This poem really touched me. me and my best friend have been friends since the 3rd grade and now we are in the 7th grade and we have been split apart but we still manage to be best friends through all of it we have had our ups and downs and we are still the best of friends and we always will be. I love this poem and I also love my best friend Abby she means a lot to me and this poem made me realize that our friendship is the best thing ever.

  • My friend and I.....well.....I love her in so many ways she is my heart and soul. Never again will I spend a day without her. Whoever made this poem obviously went into my personal life!
