What I Would Have Done Differently

There would have been
so much I would have
done differently
if only I had known
how beautifully
it would all turn out.

But, you see, if I had
done even just one
thing differently,
it might not have
turned out the way it did.

First off, I like the poem. I too have pondered that same notion about going back in time and changing things for a better outcome. It's hard to say either way. Things could have been better or not. I told my wife it's a miracle that we met. It's almost like if either of us had been in a different place in our lives, would we have ever met. I don't spend too much time thinking about it. I'm just glad things worked the way they did.
