friends come and go
after you read this you may say so

but I don't care
because I took a dare

to write this for you
a friend so true

I tell you this from the bottom of my heart
before it shatters and falls apart

forgive me for what I did
I hope that this apology can get rid

of the distance we have apart
before our friendship dies of a broken heart.

The poem is short and true to my heart. I always feel that special dream of her with me. Though time is running out so fast that I feel she will never forgive me. For she wants us to be friends and friends we are only in my heart. I feel we should go back to the roots of our love. Friends alone still hurts more.

Almost 2 months my BFF, aka my best man, was on the verge of breaking up with his girlfriend.
I had a talk with him because his gf asked to get more info on why he was acting the way he was. Well he pretty much told me everything and I relayed it to his gf. Apparently, I said too much and my BFF found out that I had told her everything. He hasn't talked to me since then. That was a month ago.
Now him and his gf are doing fine and I'm stuck wondering if he still wants the responsibility of being my best man.
I began looking for poems that would convince him of how sorry I am and that hopefully he'll forgive me.
