The past you cannot forget or undo;
The future is all we can look forward to.

I wish I could have been there by your side
For all the times you've wept and cried.

Know from my heart what I say is true.
That I hurt for the pain you have been through.

Never alone shall you be.
Someday, freedom you will see.

May your hopes and dreams come true,
No matter where you are, I'll always be here for you.

I always believed in having friends, but after spending half my life looking for true friends and losing the ones I thought I found... I have come to a conclusion that real friends only exists in fairy tales. Though I long for true friends, I have seen nothing but sore betrayals. And believe me, I've had enough.

I don't have any friends. I wish I did. I don't depend on anyone anymore.

Sad to hear that, but remember ALMIGHTY is always there. Keep the courage. Even though I don't know you, I am your friend. Stay blessed.

I have gone through this, but you will find that one friend who is beside you and whom you can trust. You can't find a true friend in one day. It will take time; you should have patience.

I really like this poem. It kind of represents a friend I would love because I don't have any friends. Thank you for this poem. It truly is beautiful.

My best friends, Brittany and Loran, came into my life because they saw me down and crying, so they helped me out, and I got to know them and we just clicked. I was going through tough times and they were the only sunshine in my life. We got separated, but I will not stop trying to get to them. I will never stop trying to find them. They are my life, my soul, and my life has no meaning if they are not in it.

This poem seems to have been written for me as I've already conveyed to my friend the same feelings, when after a gap of more than 15 years, I found her torn and down after her vanished family life.
What a coincidence!!!! Surprised, amazed and taken aback!!

I am inspired by this poem because I am missing a really good caring friend tonight. He was the best from the men I found on my life journey. He cried with me during my hardest time. He shared fun with me when I was happy. His memory remains fresh in my heart for ever because he is my soul friend. Follow your dreams and fly to the sky my friend. This is what I can do for you, wipe my tears.

I have a friend who has just confided in me about that happened to her while she was growing up. She was made to believe that it was all her fault and that she asked for what happened to her. How can grown-ups be so evil to children? I was unable to be there for my friend as she was growing up. But, I am here for her now and I will always be here for her to make sure that she will always feel safe. The past is the past and nothing can be done to change it. But, the future is something that we can change and make into whatever we want it to be.

You get me so much. I miss my best friends more than anything, and I would give anything just to see them again.
