Valentine's Day Poem to Her

Valentine's Day Poem For A New Relationship

I was looking through this site for some inspiration for a Valentine's Day poem that's for a brand new relationship. Something that doesn't quite say I love you because it's too soon. This is something I wrote to say how much she means to me.

Our Stars

As we lie and watch the sky
And count the stars as they shoot by,
I look at you and wonder why.
How could she like someone like me?
I now have butterflies and feel like I should flee.
But as I look deep in your eyes,
I remember the stars as they shot by.
And as I gaze upon your face,
It's your warmth I feel as we embrace.
You've started to mean much more to me,
You and your precious melody.
I can't wait to see how our journey takes flight.
As we storm through each and every moonlight,
I remember the stars from our first night.

Happy Valentine's Day, Sweetheart!

Man, this poem hits my heart so bad that I cried reading this myself. Then I read it to my girlfriend and she cried with me. This is summing up the start of the relationship for everyone who thinks they will be forever alone.

Hey, sorry for the late response. I'm so happy you and your girlfriend enjoyed my poem. When I wrote this, I was in the beginning of a new relationship after feeling that exact way. I hope all the best for you two, and again, thank you for your comment. It helps me to continue my writing.
