Poem About A Friendship Ending

My friend and I are frequently fighting over nothing at all. We used to be best friends. Always laughing, joking around, talking, etc. That's changing. I wrote this poem for her just so she can get an idea of what I think. I thought I'd submit it on here because I know I'm not the only one feeling this way.
By the way, I'm only twelve.

We've Been Crying Too Long

I've been crying too long,
I would really like to stop.
I know all of this is wrong-
What I've said, what I've done,
I cannot take it back.

You've been crying too long,
You would really like to stop.
For all the things I've said to you,
They may have sounded cruel.

I'd like to tell you I'm sorry,
But I know it's not good enough.
We are always in a huge mess
But always try to act tough.
Who are we kidding?
We can't pull it off.

We've been crying too long,
We really need to stop.
Lately, all we do is fight,
For our friendship is ending.
We are finally surrendering
As we let our last tears fall.

Sorry isn't good enough,
And I know it never will be.
But all I want you to know
Is that you can always trust me.

I miss how we used to be;
Laughing, talking, joking,
Just you and me.
Your smile gave me hope,
But now it makes me cry.
Now as I hear your name,
I think of our memories and knowing why.

We've been crying too long,
We might as well stop.
This is not something we can mend,
I guess our friendship must end.
