Because I miss my daughter, she has decided to move to TX to live with her dad. She is my baby & the bond that I've shared with her since the moment she was conceived is incomprehensible. The feelings that I feel right now are unexplainable & I am searching for something to help me fill the void.

I'm reading poetry because it is one of my most favorite genres of writing. Poems are a way a writer can convey feelings that cannot always be easily expressed via the spoken word. Also, I love to sing and I love to write. Through my years as a singer, I have realized, from reading poems, that they are, in some cases, like song lyrics without the music.
