Confused about Love Poem

Sometimes we have such strong feelings for a person but, we still have a void as if there is something missing. This poem interprets the feeling from one point to the next point in a relationship. It is just a description of the inner turmoil we feel in describing how we feel about the person we were next to the previous night. But, in the end we are sure of one thing and that is the feeling that we are In Love.

Man Right Here

© Keshia Jones
Last Night there was a man right here,
This morning he has a name.

Last Night there was a man right here,
This morning it's not the same.

The man right here last night was strange,
This morning he's not the same.

Last Night I kind of liked the man right here,
This morning that too has changed.

This morning he has a name for me to say
His face will take the strange away.

This morning he has a Meaning
Much more than he used to mean.

This morning he is etched in my brain,
his scent, his touch, his face

Last Night there was a man right there
This morning I kissed his face.

Last night I fell in Love with the man right there
This morning we lay face to face
