Broken Friendship Poem

Friends may plan for their relationship to last forever, but when circumstances change, their friendship becomes harder to maintain.

The relationship between two friends
Is more than you can hold in your hands
It feels like it could never break
Or someone could ever take
Then suddenly like the break of dawn
Someone else comes along
Then the relationship bends so much that it breaks apart
And soon it breaks a heart.

  • Hey I read a poem of yours... It really touched my heart. I have this friend I consider him to be the brother I never had.. He met this girl and I don't think she's genuine... she likes to keep him away from all his friend and we both read a text message that some other guy sent to her.. It seem that she was in a hot relationship with this guy, never the less she says it's nothing I'm really looking out for him and I don't want him to get hurt so I told him about this and he went berserk and turned on me, to the point where he treats me like we were never fiends.
It hurts because I really look out for this dude and I'm still a good friend but he has changed. I really really can relate to that poem.
