Short Sad Poem

The expression of crying silent tears reveals a profound inner struggle that goes unnoticed by others. Through the quiet vulnerability of these tears, the poem conveys a sense of longing to be understood and heard.

Shh...listen, don't you hear?
I'm crying, but they are silent tears.
I'm crying on the inside so you can't see
all the pain running though me .
I cry for you, I cry for me.
I cry for the times I can't,
so if you listen, you may hear my silent tears.

Lonely in a crowded room...feeling only gloom and doom. Knowing that the end is near...who will care or shed a tear?

Made me feel so sad. I would cry for hours in my room, in the bathroom, in the shower, and wherever else no one would see me or hear me. I'd wait for my family to be out and me to be by myself so that I didn't have to worry about somebody coming in, calling me, or seeing my red eyes. I don't know why I don't like people to know, it's just weird that I don't let it show. I'm the girl who goes into the bathroom to cry the tears I've held back for so long and then walk out like nothing ever happened. I was depressed for over a year, wanted to die, and always cried, and then I couldn't do it anymore. It's like God was testing me to see how much I could bear, and then one thing I found out and it completely destroyed me. I didn't know what to do, so I started to cut for some reason. Did that for months, then my parents found out. So I stopped eventually, even though I slip up once in a while. The girl who cries though is still me. I'm depression's best friend. :'(

You should talk to someone rather than hurt yourself. All you need is a friend you can trust; I promise. Depression should not be your best friend. You should continue writing. Good luck with your future - your biggest fan!

This one's so sad. It reinvents the tears I've had. From gloom and doom, and yet not bad, it keeps my mind from going mad.

Hey, Don't worry we all cry, sometimes even more than expected, but who sees? and who tries to help?
The sad part is no one. For a guy, I cry easily, some say I am too emotional, but little do they know the heartache or the pain. What helped me to feel a lot better, is writing poems. It has brought me so much relief, maybe you could let your tears flow through your words my friend.

I feel this story so much, I wish people could see, could hear my silent cries for help. I need someone just anyone to be able to see past this fake smile I wear every day.

Katy! If you feel the need for help, CRY OUT to someone! You'd be AMAZED at the number of people that feel exactly as you do! You are NOT ALONE! For you to take the first step and to reach out to the first person (be it a friend, relative or even a stranger) that your inner sense guides you to, you may just find the ear that longs to hear! Someone cares! Just give yourself a boost, take a chance, and reach out! You WILL be surprised if you are persistent enough! Take care.
