Teen Poems

Much has been written about the difficulties of School. Children are in some ways like savages, not being fully trained in the ways of society. They may not stop to think whether it is wrong to torture other children, both emotionally or physically. Most schools have various groups or gangs of children that exclude all others. This being said there is much good that children and teens do between each other. There is no question that school is a difficult place to be and there is much to be written about this subject.

Depression has become an epidemic amongst the teen population. Some of its prevalence can be blamed on hormonal changes as a teenager matures. However, the main reason for depression in teenagers is sadness felt as a result of struggling to get to know one's self and new intense feelings which are being felt for the first time.

Poetry that affects teens requires a category all its own. The teenage years are a time when individuals experience some of the most difficult issues in life without having the benefit of experience. Teen Poets write some of the most intense poetry.
