My Little Boy

No amount of gold could ever compare to the gift of love that my son shares.
I've been blind and I couldn't see that all the love I've wanted is right here in front of me.
He gives me reason to get through another day.
Maybe it's how he loves me in his special little way.
And when it gets hard for me to sleep at night....
He wraps his little arms around me and says God will make things right!
From sweet gentle touches to his bear hugs and a kiss...
He makes this hell on earth seem more like a peaceful bliss.
That great big kool-aid smile and the twinkle in his eyes....
Every time I look at him it makes me want to cry.
But they're not tears of sorrow; they're tears of pride and joy....
To know that all the love in heaven is wrapped around my little boy.

Nothing can compare to the day I held your fragile body in my arms for the first time, after 37 weeks of waiting patiently for you to make you grand debut the lord blessed me with a little piece of heaven, I couldn't be more proud of you, and see the similarities to your granddad that I loved so dearly that was called to rest. The lord had truly blessed me by giving me a beautiful son to ease the pain. Though I may not be able to give you riches and the latest trends or toys, I can promise you that I will always try my best to be there for you and provide. When you are ill I will nurse you, when you need to talk I will teach you, I will be your chef, your driver and I will do it with no complaints as I am honored to be your mom and I am blessed to watch you grow .

Thanks for the poem.... I remember the first time I held my son, it was the most amazing moment. It is like time had stopped and we were the only people existing.. Now this poem makes me miss my son so much.. He is only 14 months and at home with my mum as I clear my studies. I call everyday just to hear him mumbling words. To Faraj S. B. my son I love you so much baby, may God be with you in every step you make as you grow up.. Love mama.. See you soon in Feb... Love you

This poem made me cry as I read through it. I was looking for a birthday message that is appropriate for my son's 8th birthday, then I stumbled unto it by mistake.
My marriage has been on the rocks for so many years now...I tried holding on and come to realize that what I need is just right here with me..
I love my husband so much that it shadows anything and anyone else. When I read THE POEM, I started crying. I have everything I need beside me all along...my son Angelo...
Thank You...

This poem touches my heart. As my son has grown into a young adult, I missed the times that we had when he was a little boy. Though he is sixteen, to me he is still my little boy.

This poem truly touched my heart I had to share it with many of my friends and they fell in love with the poem. I have a 3 year old son that is beyond a blessing he is truly my motivation and many more. I know god has blessed me with my little boy for a reason. There is no such thing as a perfect marriage, and as a human being I cry because I'm sad or don't think I'm doing something right or is ever good enough but everyday we learn. But what makes everything better is when you have a 3 year old wiping your tears away with his little finger looking you in the eyes, and telling you "mommy don't cry, everything will be ok." That is what truly keeps me going Being a mother is beyond amazing and having a child is beyond amazing as well. Mommy loves you baby boy

A newborn in my life that God has chosen for me! Oh my God a 7lb 3 once bundle of joy, this child, this blessing that the Lord has sent to me! The most precious of time, sleeping on my shoulder, snoring. occasionally, wiggle, a precious grin, I know wasn't for me, but for the angels you were playing with, though the precious smile I was so proud to see. I'm honored to have watched you grow, from that perfect baby, toddler, little boy, teen and now a man, you have brought much focus into my life. I was once told it was you and I, we helped each other to grow! You came to me in unsettling times in your life. You will need love, security, direction and God. I not Mom but of all things a single grandpa at 45! I played the part of mom, Dad, caregiver and friend. Now you my SON has grown, I miss so much that little boy. God and I did a great job! To raise a child, one day, when you become a Dad, you'll be great! God and me know it.

My sons could always touch my heart in many ways. I can relate to lonely nights without my spouse but my sons were there for me. My first son took on many responsibilities when my spouse was out playing house with others.

I was really touched by this poem as my son also is as caring as described in this poem, actually the kids are your lifeline and when they are growing up your life just revolves around them .Whenever I am disturbed due to anything, he is so concerned that he would just go to any extent to make me happy again.

Simply beautiful. I have been blessed with the ability to raise my baby boy at home since he turned 11 months. He will be 4 this June and is the love of my life. My little superhero is currently at his grandparents but I just hate to be away from him for very long.
My heart goes out to all the mothers who babies are waiting for them in heaven. God bless.

This poem really touched me, because I'm a teen mom with a 1 year old son. My baby father only wants to be around when he want or has time for my son. I hate it because my son gets use to seeing him and then he stop coming. So right now I'm the mother and father for my baby boy cause his father doesn't want to help me out with the baby.

This poem as really touched me, filled my heart with more love for my 2 year and 2 months old son. This has made me write a poem in my baby's book he touches my heart anytime I get home. Thanks Sabrina for that poem this will make my son understand me more when he grows up since we divorced with the father when he was just 3 months old.

I was touched especially with the last line as my first son is literally wrapped in heavens love as he left my arms and went to God's loving arms at just 53 minutes old - he would have been 23 this year

Hi, Today for some reason is a bad day! I read your poem and it started the flow of tears. So far has been as well as expected. My son was killed in a road accident on the 26th December 2009. I am facing my first Christmas without him and seeing all the xmas stuff around and the present lists that friends are getting for their children, quite honestly hurts (not that I mean it too). I don't know what to do and seek advice. Don't worry if you can't help, I'll sort it. xxx

When I read this poem, it filled my heart with so much Love. My daughter has three wonderful sons, I am going to put this on her fridge and mine. She is raising my grandsons on her own, and I am so proud of her and my so very much loved grandsons. God has blessed us with so much Love, and that is the most important thing in all our lives

I am that son, my mother is presently in the hospital, she is 92 years of age...I am praying that she gets better. but I miss those night just sitting with her in her bedroom and making sure she was ok and kissing her ear... making her laugh...So I know that God is hearing my prayer, cant wait till she is home again...so we can have those special moments again.

This poem is fitting for me because my two sons are now 13 & 14. Today they have no time for me, which breaks my heart thinking that when they were younger I could hug them and kiss them and run my fingers through their hair without a fuss of any kind. I miss the days of no rejection, but know that my love continues to grow and look forward to the day that they ask me for affection. Teenagers are amazing.

I'm a divorced/single mom a little three year old boy who is the light of my life. His dad hasn't seen him since he was 1yr and doesn't want anything to do with him. It just breaks my heart but luckily my son does not know any different. I wanted to find a poem to put in his baby book to let him know that even though his daddy may not have been a part of his life that I love him enough for two parents! I can't imagine my life without the my little man named Kiefer.
