Twin Poems

Poems about Twins

The closeness that twins experience is unique. Growing up in the same family, and the same age, they are in a unique position to share perspectives on life. On the other hand, many twins experience a need for space. They may find their close relationship to be stifling. Depending on their personalities they may be the best of friends or worst of enemies. Their closeness having the potential to both bring them together or separate them as far as possible from each other.

the chances seemed rather far.

We asked God for a little girl,
To cuddle and hold …

My daughter just gave birth to twins. A boy and a girl and I thought the poem was very appropriate for them.

Twin Brothers

Being a twin is not always easy
Why is everyone so blind?
I may look like my brother,
But I am one of a kind.

I want to be noticed
For the person that's me.
My brother is …

Twins, Not So Fun

Twins are special
but not so fun
Sometimes I just want to run
they call me, her
and they call her, me.

so I answer to her and to me.
