My Three Awards

In my life I have received three awards. They cannot be hung on a wall, or put away in a drawer to collect dust and be forgotten.
My awards were given to me in 1977, 1982, and 1998. The awards I'm speaking of are my three precious children.
My first son gives me his encouragement to achieve my goals, the same encouragement which he says I gave him when he was growing up. Everyday he shows me, through his strength, that I should never give up trying to achieve my dream.
My second son, with his warm smile and generous spirit, is a constant inspiration to me. When I hear his voice, I always feel reassured that everything is going to be okay.
My last award quite a surprise, and a delightful one as well, my daughter, arrived just at a time when I had lost my spark for life. I have discovered my own unique creativity, and want to share this gift with her. Together, she and I are exploring the joy of life.
