Moving On Poem after Death

Poem For When A Friend Dies

I wrote this poem some time after a dear, dear friend passed away. It is about accepting that a person you cared so much about can never be with you again, and how hard that is.

It's today, and I will spend it
Without you

It's sun, it's rain, it's clouds and I am
Without you

It's here, there, the other place, and I will be
Without you

It's now, always, every day
Without you.
