Anniversary Poem
On the anniversary of his wife's death he looks to the heavens for his wife's face hoping to feel her sweet embrace.
Stars At Night

Beautiful stars in the night
Beautiful stars shining bright
Wondering what is beyond that life
Wondering if it’s my lost loved wife
I never realized how much I loved her
But I know she loved me, this I’m sure.
To this day I remember her embrace
Through the stars I can see her face
Though the fall colors look so fine
The fall also brings October nine
On that day I miss her so
She was my best friend, nowhere near my foe
I thought this day couldn’t get worse
The fall must be the family curse
With the beautiful autumn sky
I never thought it would be the day I too would die
Beautiful stars in the night
Beautiful stars shining bright
Wondering what is beyond the sky
Maybe it’s just the family’s eye
