They say time heals all
Is today the day the hurt begins to fall
They say that it will get better and time will ease the pain;
Maybe today the hurt will wain
The summer days are so long
The pain is still strong
Our son is growing so brave
However he struggles with thought of you in the grave
I work hard at being a good dad
It will never replace the love you two had
You did so much for me dear
I hate to ask but Can you help us with our tears
The memories and pain is unbearable today
I pray tomorrow will not be this way
Is today the day the hurt begins to fall
They say that it will get better and time will ease the pain;
Maybe today the hurt will wain
The summer days are so long
The pain is still strong
Our son is growing so brave
However he struggles with thought of you in the grave
I work hard at being a good dad
It will never replace the love you two had
You did so much for me dear
I hate to ask but Can you help us with our tears
The memories and pain is unbearable today
I pray tomorrow will not be this way
