A mother talks about the great joy and sense of completeness her daughter has brought to her family.

Mommy's Little Girl

© Susan Bayona
The Love I Felt when I brought you home,
was more than imagined, more than I've ever known.
I Gave you life, You gave us joy
We couldn't help wonder if you were a Girl or a Boy.
A beautiful blessing that's what you are, known as Daddy's Lil girl and Mommy's Lil star.
We'll follow your footsteps, try and catch you when you fall.
Walking side by side, we'll be there when you call.
You completed our family, you made us a whole. We made great parent's yes, that was our goal.
Someday you'll make a life of your own.
We'll always be behind you, you'll never be alone.
There's no greater love than that of a child, so innocent , so Lovely just makes you SMILE!
