Brother Death Poem

Saying Goodbye To Your Sibling

Memorial Day 2023 was the last day I kiss my younger brother and told him I loved him as he dropped me off at home in the Bronx he lived in Brewster. he was a beautiful humble loving individual. Receiving the call was unbelievable heartbreaking that he was dead the Wednesday after Memorial Day 2023. This my poem I wrote to him and read at his funeral service.

When siblings pass away it has special meaning to us.  They are often close in age and,
Their passing may bring to mind our own morality.  It's also common amongst siblings to
search for why...
You left without warning ...Gone so fast that all we have now are memories from our past.
We all Loved you unconditionally and definitely will miss you, but you will forever be with us in
Spirit with everlasting memories.
You have grown with us forever.  All whom you have touched will always smile whenever you.
Are thought about. All the laughter, thoughtfulness, caring, support and love you blessed all.
With Laughter and tears.  It's so hard for all of us we're really going to miss you, Tone.
Brothers teach us about life, what it means to be kind caring, fair and most of about teamwork.
Taking care of one another and protecting each other Most importantly what it is to be love.
And be loved...Those we love do not go away they walk beside us every day unseen unheard.
But always near still loved missed but always held dear.... love you Tone forever double infinity!
My big baby brothers.

Yes, Saying Goodbye to My Brother is a poem I wrote to deal with the loss of my youngest brother Tony he was a humble protective brother. Helpful to all who were in his life. His funeral was such a great tribute to him. knowing he was called home with his Higher Power too early, but knowing God has our life paths set for all individual's but still we wonder why Tony. Me and my brother were two years' apart. Growing up I called us the brady bunch, because we came from a family of 13 children 6 boys and 7 girls. Growing up it was the six youngest that were always together. Singing playing going to school together movies everything even fighting. Most of all always taking care of each other. i know he will always be with me in spirit and memories will forever be with me all the while wishing Tony was still here physically.
