Family Poem about Love
As a hurricane rips through a city, a father prays to God above and remembers that just as the weather comes from above so does God's kindness.
A Lesson In Love
©
Samuel C. Stephens
As Hurricane Charley came ripping through, many wondered what to do.
Should I stay or should I go, north
or south, I don't know.
Heavenly Father up in the sky, please
have mercy as this storm goes by.
Protect my home, my kids, my wife.
Bless me with one more day of life.
And when the storm had come and gone,
we pulled together one by one.
To help each other start anew, His love
among us grew and grew.
Together we struggled to survive and
because of His love, we are alive.
Hurricane Charley came from above,
so does His grace and this Lesson
in Love.
Hurricane Charley came from above,
so does His grace and this Lesson
in Love.
