Missing You Poem

Daughter is angry with me for a terrible mistake I made. I have not held her in 12 years.

Once My Angel

© Natalie Deeter
What Tiny hands,
a perfect fit....
once they held mine,
I will not forget
Now .... [ deeply sighs ]
Well now....
Little hands are not as small,
But will always feel right
Pressed tightly in mine ,

Oh....
 what a smile....
So sweet And So true .....
Beautiful....
Absolutely beautiful ....
Completely your own....

The sounds of your voice....
Are The songs of an angel....
So pure.....
And so proud....
Forever sing little angel ....
Forever sing ....

Your Eyes....
full of life....
shine deeply within....
Please Always burn bright....
Never to end ....

A Heart filled with love
Is a wonderful blessing....
 remember
These words are so true

Beautiful lights surround your presence.....
Once my angel.....
Forever I cry....

  • This just says a lot, me having lost a child at 6 weeks old, it just says it all.

  • This poem is wonderful! Made me cry because when I was 6 months old my father and mother divorced and I didn't know him until I was around 12. Just this weekend he got remarried and I got to give him away. My dad is the most important person in my life and I don't know what I would ever do with out him around!
