Parent Poem

A girl who is worried about her parents constant arguing gives them a good "talking too".

A Message For Mommy

© Mandy K. Greger
Mommy please don't talk to daddy that way,
Your words get meaner everyday
I hate to hear you yell, and to see my daddy cry
He knows you are sad and doesn't understand why
You created me out of love, don't bring me up in hate,
If you two can't make it, what shall be my fate?
I know you love daddy, and can make things right,
Just think of me the next time you get the urge to fight.
Take his hand and hold it, as you two watch me grow,
Don't forget this message mommy.
Love always,
Kylee Jo.

  • Love children. This poem touched my heart. To quote the title of a show that came on TV many years ago, "Kids are people too!"
