Brother Death Poem

This poem is about my brother Manny, he passed in 2006. He was shot.

Saying Goodbye

© Tila
the day you left,
was a day no one expected.
that day was very hectic.
no one could understand why.
no chance to even say goodbye.
but deep inside I know that you are okay.
I still remember your goofy laugh till this day.
no matter what people have to say about you.
I knew all the good things you used to do.
this is my goodbye letter,
letting you know that we miss you, and love you.
and things will NEVER be the same.

  • My name is Samantha and my big brother was hit by a car and killed November 3, 2011. I find it so hard to deal with it sometimes. He was 30 years old and just had a baby girl 2 months before the accident. And just knowing she has to grow up with out him there kills me every day. But we're trying to stay strong. I miss you everyday Mike there's not a day that goes by that I don't think about you. I love you so much!!

  • To my brother Skippy
You where a different kind of guy, a man who never really had a real job, but never asked anyone for anything, you somehow made it work, You would help anyone who needed help, but asked for nothing in return. You where the oldest of the boys, and they looked up to you. You where a good brother which was so true, so I am saying good bye to you, you are with God now and mom and dad I will miss you Skippy. • On January 9, 2010 my little brother was brutally murdered in Houston Tx. When I read this poem my tears began to fall. The one thing I couldn't stand was his goofy laugh! But I would give EVERYTHING jus to hear it again. He was just 21. So much life ahead of him. N 3 days exact it will be 3 years. People say time heals all wounds. The pain that my mom and baby brother are going thru will NEVER heal. He left us to cherish his beautiful son. R.I.P. DAIRIUS!

  • My name is Jen. On November 20, 2011 my brother, Jonathan, was struck and killed by a distracted driver. He would be 26 a week from this Sunday. He was such a gentle soul, kind and funny. My kids and I miss him everyday. Our lives forever changed and bruised by this tragedy. I grieve for him everyday. Rest in paradise Jonny - we love you.
