A Wife's Flowers

A Wife's Flowers

Your flowers look so beautiful today
For in our garden, you have a way
The blooms are such a treat for me
That I want all our friends to come and see

You're up every day at the hour of light
When the sun shines thru the window so bright
You head for your flowers with the hose in hand
To make sure they're fed, so they will brighten the land

A weed won't last long in your flower bed
For because of your hoe, it will soon be dead
You work so much to make it just right
You pull and hoe with all your might

The beauty you cause makes me feel great
I'm glad to have you as my friend and mate
I really thank you for working so hard
For we really have a most beautiful yard
