Divorce Poem

This poem is about a couple that I have loved and respected. They remain precious as individuals.

Forever Love

© Stephanie Evans
Soft music
an innocent look.
Sweet romance,
as in a story book.

He stole her heart.
She fell in love.
Was this handsome stranger
sent from above?

As she walked down the aisle,
upon her face, beamed a smile.
Her hair, a shade of red,
gently glistened upon her head.

Till death do us part
she softly spoke.
He meant the words.
It was no joke.

As time passed by
the children came.
There was love.
They felt no shame.

They went their separate ways,
yet their thoughts were of each other.
Love resides within the heart,
with no desire for another.

At family outings,
they are found.
There are no sad feelings.
Love doesn't make a sound.

love isn't always bells and harps.
It is a whisper or a sigh.
Love is caring and true.
There is no goodbye.
Forever Love.
