It Wasn't That I Didn't Want You

I was only 16,
Just started out on my own,
Mummy and daddy had no place to call home,
We think about you,
Although nothing is said,
Memories and thoughts swim through our heads,
I just want you to know,
I will always love you,
And mummy and daddy will be with you soon,
In the mean time my darling,
Just patiently wait,
Mummy and Daddy will meet you at the gates,
Have fun in heaven,
Be happy and free,
I'm sorry I had to lose you
All my love,
Mummy xxx

I'm only 17 and it was the hardest thing I had to do. I would be lying if I said I don't think about it at all. I cry almost everyday. No one had forced me, both my and my boyfriend decided it was the best thing for me. He promised he'd be there for me always. I went through it all alone while he was out drinking. I regret it, all I ever wanted was to hold my baby :(. It was the most painful experience I've ever experienced. It haunts me everyday while he's living his life without even caring. I wish there was a pill I could take to make the pain go away.

Please, never forget that you are only asked to give this child nine months. After that, if you cannot provide, the baby does not have to suffer at all. Someone else is waiting, longing, to give your baby everything he or she needs. Yes, it is difficult. After adoption you suffer because your baby is alive and you have to say goodbye. After an abortion you suffer because your baby is dead and you have to say goodbye.

You feel that nobody around you can ever understand. I was just 15 when this happened to me, the feeling that I did that to my baby will never go away. Many people are against abortion and I totally understand why, but if you made a mistake and can not give that baby the best life that it deserves, than it is the right thing to do. Your baby should not have to suffer because of the mistake that you make period.
Everybody makes mistakes!!!
