Mother Child Poem

A girl writes about the gift of her mother's love.

My Mothers Love

© April A. Clark

I have a special treasure
A gift from up above
A precious treasure
It is my mothers love
You’re more than just special
Your part of my heart
Locked there forever
Never shall we part
All of my dreams, you made sure came true.
Putting yourself aside even when I hurt you.
You’re not only my mother you’re also my best friend,
No one can ever change that. It’s not something that could end.
I know that I am blessed, from heaven up above,
So lucky to have, my mothers love.
