To My Nana

Who would try to give me all the world
As far as she could see?

Who always has two open arms
And smiles just made for me?

Who always finds some special time
That we two can share?

And never is too busy
To show how much she cares.

There's not another in the world
From Rome to Ohio

I'm glad God made you for me
I love you so much, Nana!

This poem reminds me of my only grandchild, Faith. She is my son's daughter and was born when he was only 20 and I was 42 so I was not quite ready to be called "Grandma" yet but I loved being called Nana. We have an especially close relationship and she wrote a list when she was about 8 yrs old (she is now 16) about all the things she loved about me. It brought back memories for me reading this poem and now I just want to go and find that list! Linda G.

I would like to say I LOVE this poem because it reminds me of my aunt, who got in a car accident that killed her 9 months later. It was a difficult journey and she was very young. She was 21 and beautiful. She was just like your grandma the way she is with you. Marissa was always there for me. Awesome Poem. -Lauren (Memory of Marissa..1989-2009)

This is one of the nicest poems I've seen in a very long time. It brought a tear to my eye. It really made me think of my NANA.
