Abandonment Poem

This is about the sadness a daughter feels over the loss of contact with her father as she's grown into an adult .

Sorry But .......

Sorry But ........

I'm sorry you had to leave ,this was not my fault,
I'm sorry I never told you ,how I really felt,
I'm sorry you haven’t seen your grandchildren grow ,oh how they've grown !
I'm sorry you felt compelled to miss my big day ,
I looked around the church for you ,but sorry dad you weren’t there,
I've cried a lot about you over the years ,
but sorry dad I'll cry no more
Hope your well , but sorry dad I'll never know
