You are my best friend,
You belong in my heart.
We go through ups and downs,
But still nothing can tear us apart.
I met you as a stranger,
Took you as a friend.
I hope our long friendship
Will never end.

I've sat and cried over you way too much,
just wishing one more time I could feel your touch,
but you don't care, and neither should I,
so I'm going to move on, or at least I'm going to try.
Have a little faith.
Things will be okay.
Fight with all your might
as you face another day.
Until now I'm still searching
For the thing that'll stop my crying.
For someone who'll erase my fears,
For the person who'll wipe my tears.
Though there is gold up in the mountains,
lovely pearls deep in the sea,
those treasures do not mean as much
as your friendship means to me.
