A Mother In Hiding

Deep down in every person they hold this image of the one they idolize.
You have been that for me and my little sis.
But as the waves’ passed we have felt so very cold and all alone.
We know you lost loved ones so have we.
I guess the family we were will never be!
I wish you understood how much we have needed you extremely now…
It’s like looking into a reflection of one that’s happy and then incredibly miserable .
It felt so short but beautiful, safe, loving, and everlastingly.
Then to turn so ugly, forgotten, unsure, and lost.
After watching what the waves took in and washed out we knew we needed out.
Loving you is all we wanted but we're still so confused and lonely as before.
We’ll love you always and never forget the mom we miss and really need back.
