Thanks be unto God the Father
for His great work in creating man.
God decided to reproduce Himself, 
So He formed man with His hand.

God crowned man with His glory
and gave him dominion over the earth.
He made man a little lower than the angels
and honored him with great worth.

God endowed man with wisdom
so great things he would be able to do.
He made him in the likeness of Himself 
so man could become a father too.

Creating man was God's best work.
He gave him authority and great might
to provide for the needs of his family
and courage to face the darkest night.

We honor God for His creation
and for making man His masterpiece.
He is to be an extension of Christ Jesus
so God's kingdom work will not cease.

So we salute fatherhood everywhere.
It is the highest position in the land.
It's no greater honor than being called dad
and no greater foundation on which to stand.

A woman of noble character, who can find?
She is more precious than rubies of any kind.
Her husband esteems her with love and respect.
She manages her household without neglect.

She rises early and plans her day with skill,
And with great wisdom she buys herself a field.
The woman works diligently with her hands;
her business is profitable and is in demand.

She helps the poor and those in need
and prepares for her family with love indeed.
Covering of scarlet for her home she makes
and sews linen and tapestry for her own sake.

Her husband is respected in the public place
as she works wisely with quiet grace.
The woman is clothed with honor and dignity,
speaks with wisdom, and quite charming is she.

Her children rise up and call her blessed,
and her husband praises her resourcefulness.
For favor is deceitful and beauty is vain,
but a God-fearing woman is of great gain.

K - Kindness is shown by what we say and do.
I - It says to the other person, "I care about you."
N - Never neglect to show kindness to everyone you see.
D - Day or night, young or old, whoever it may be.
N - Nothing touches the heart like a big, warm smile.
E - Everyone needs to feel loved, whether adult or child.
S -  So smile at someone to show them that you care.
S -  Show kindness and love to everyone everywhere.

You have served your time
and lived out your days.
You have now made the move
from your house of clay.

You went on ahead of us,
as you answered the call.
We, too, must take our leave,
not just some of us, but all.

We can no longer see you,
but we can feel you near.
You are hidden in our hearts,
and we'll always hold you dear.

We can no longer hear you,
but we will keep you close.
The memories of you are many,
and the love will not grow old.

We can no longer touch you,
but thoughts of you remain.
We remember your kindness
and the love we exchanged.

You are absent from the body;
it has now returned to the dust.
But your spirit lives on
and will reunite with us.
