When all the doors shut in your face,
Have faith and continue to praise.

When you can't bear the thought of yesterday and dread tomorrow,
Carry on with grace.

If you're the last one running,
Don't look back or slow your pace.

Keep moving forward,
Disregard the pain and aches.

Life is difficult,
With many demons to chase. 

Make them your accomplice
If that's what you need to win the race.

The world has become a bitter place.
Don't become disgraced.

When life pushes you face down,
Rise up and pray.

The judge is upstairs keeping track
Of what you're carrying on your slate.

Live life in peace
And consume no hate.

So when you get to where you're going,
It will be worth your wait.

You abide your lord consistently. In the months with persistency.  He sends you what u thought u wanted. A burst of love & efficiency, that for once in your life u felt mutually.

A feeling u don't get usually.

  This correlation ultimately lead to a path of devastation, not from the master but his powerless creation.

Why did this light that was envisioned so bright; turn into a year of dark nights? 

Sometimes your soul needs what it may despise.

Enduring so much pain that the love for everyone around you dies, he wants you for that moment to realize.

Love is made for no one but the creator of the skies.

Dry your eyes, indeed those dark nights were a blessing in disguise!

Tears would stream down my face.

They would stream unspoken words of poetry that I couldn't erase.

I stored them for years but I didn't write them down.

Deep in my limbic system where words never drown.

I would bleed the ink that I didn't utilize.

A body & soul formed through the beauty of art.

A beautiful silence that I would selfishly bogart..

Although I knew it from the very start.

These unuttered words one day would leak, straight from my heart.

I aligned my perception on that day.

I was a newlywed with to much on my plate.

I wasn't speeding or turned away.

I only wish it wasn't me behind the wheel, on that clear autumn day.

I was aquatinted with my biggest fear and I was the perpetrate.

A tragedy I couldn't obviate.

When my front bumper hit the soul of Gerilee Blake.

Taking her life like it was mandate.

They all told me not to cry, that it was fate.

What none of them understood was, what my eyes saw on that day.

How in an instant, my heart would eternally break.

What they perceived as an accident.

I couldn't help but to take some blame.

Subconsciously, punishing myself, I drove everyone away.

Including my companion that took my forever and swayed.

I became secluded and my life felt delayed.

I wrecked what took all my youth to build, on that day.

Rest in peace Gerilee Blake. I am sorry everyday!

My pen takes me places I've never been.

Giving me the courage to express what's within.

A leak in emotions that I would have, otherwise, held in.

The perfect dose of strength to begin again.

A traveling soul, trembling in the wind.

Descending roads and betrayals of kin.

Pause if you need to but don't ever give in.

Trials were built to cleanse us from sin.

When everything around  discourages you,  remember the deep ocean we swam in, & the days we almost lost our breath, drowning.

When they smiled as we frowned.

Your a dedicated queen that is yet to be crowned.

I hope you always keep me in a secure place in your heart.

Know I've been praying for you from the very start.

I lost my dreams but didn't lose my heart.

Fortunately you were the only one living inside.

That's what kept me alive.

To have the chance to give u the most important reminder.

Their is No one is more capable then you.

You will master this as long as you believe that it's true.

Remain firm in faith, never decrease your aim.

As I always tell you.

Never let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game!

How the stars are placed in ordinance so perfectly in the sky.

You think of who created them and all the reasons why.

Besides the science of the universes, their must be a poetic side.

An artistic much more articulate then you and I.

I sometimes watch them for hours & hours at a time.

Hoping to see a shooting star to wish away the pain withheld inside.

To think of how beautiful the light disappears into the darkness of the night.

& how the next morning will bring back the light.

A reoccurring circulation that everyday we watch arise.

Every day we see it happen but only few of us realize.

It's almost become human nature to let this beauty pass us by.

We almost never take the time to admire the art that stands before our eyes.

A perception that is only seen through the vision of the wise.

Knowing their something bigger then what we see on the outside.
