  • Measure Of Your Worth

I have known so many people who have settled for some jerk because they didn't believe they were worthy of anything better! I myself was one of those people and one day I woke up and realized I was worthy! I should never have to Settle for anything less than what I deserve. And it all lies in my integrity!

When do we discover the measure of our worth? Is it something in our DNA? Have we had it since our birth?
Is it something that we have to learn, something we get taught?
Or is it something we can find on line to be traded, sold or bought?
Is it something very rare like a limited edition?

  • The Hero In My Story

I was abused as a child and my dad moved out and a woman and her very young daughter moved in. And she is my hero! She brought life and unconditional love into our darkness and hearts! And I have been trying to finish this poem for years and years. And I finally finished it knowing that this is the best I have and all I can do to try and show her how much she means to me and why

You're the Hero in my story Lin. On the very day that you moved in.
Filled the darkness and my lungs with light and oxygen!
You replaced our fears with laughter and gave us hope when there seemed none.
Reminding us we were still alive and the permission to have fun.

    My mother was adopted.
    All the records tightly sealed.
Now all she has are questions,
    Like wounds that never healed.

For some of us, meeting our parents saved our lives. I'm sorry things got hard. It is definitely hard to look at yourself and wonder where your nose, eyes, etc. came from. It's difficult to...

I don't believe I have ever been so moved or touched to tears from any poem I have ever read. I absolutely love this man. He is beautiful!
I placed my first born daughter up for adoption. And I have no regrets. She is now 21 and she found us. And she is just as grateful, loving and filled with God love and thanks as he.
I don't even no if I am making any sense right now.
Thank you Jesus.
