I was drowning in the never land of sin
Falling into deaths grip abiding by temptation
A fool who pleased his flesh justifying wrong doing
I crucified Christ after he gave his life for me

The word told me to keep my mind on things above
I rejected the instruction choosing to listen to myself
I let destructive thoughts set me up to indulge
The spirit kept screaming out stop this right now

It only took a moment of giving into what is sensual
I eventually got hooked by sites and all that is sexual
It seemed like natures desires being satisfied
It was really an addicition of feeding the lust inside

When I woke up it was really getting serious
My naive acts created in me the most dreadful feeling
Pornography had crippled my walk with Jesus
It has been a stronghold for the enemy to creep in

I never knew how to get rid of this nightmare
I had been saying so many prayers
I was lead to confess out my sin along with every fear
I was told that whenever Im in a bind call on Jesus

He Is not only the saviour you read about
Jesus is the one who destroys strongholds
Just believe in Him when you call His name for help
Just like he did for me He will rescue you from sin and urges felt.

I want whom I love to love the Lord too, which means more to me than thee simple  "I'm praying for you" , so that in serving Christ together we may glorify Him through a testimony of our love that is also spiritual.

I love you the way the sun loves the earth,
with warmth of every feeling it has birth,
growing flowers within you, you deserve,
planting a kiss gently upon your surfaces.
Though rhythm of our affection may dry
with devotion I'll never desert your cry
for I'll continually be the light of your life.

I can not stand to gaze at
what lies adjacent to me,
jumping out of it's skin
to pierce without a sorry.

Though blessing need not
to give a word of apology,
offense is taken solemnly.

Hurt shadowed circuitry
so how can I stand to see
brightness shine lovingly
if emotion esclipes poetry.

Radiance is given willingly
and all I have as an offering
are shards dipped in misery

I used to think
that having it
altogether is key
but than I realized
happiness is what
opens doors for me
