Everyday I pray
I cry every day,
Everyday I sing
I give every day,
Everyday I laugh
Everyday I love,
I Dance every day,
Everyday I play
Everyday I work,
Everyday I am happy
I am sad every day,
I feel for all every day
Everyday I hurt,
Everyday I have faith
I have compassion every day,
I have hope every day
Everyday I live for Christ,
Everyday Iam blessed,
Because of this, I have peace.

On a crowded street, I saw him
On a corner close to home,
His walk was long and steady,
He wore your style of clothes

I saw his muscles through his shirt
His shoulders about your size,
Yet from the back his shape was yours
And he \swayed from side to side.

As he turned my way, he saw me
His look then caught my stare,
Upon his head he wore a hat,
And there was silver in his hair.

His face is tanned, his eyes are blue
Upon his lip set a mustache too.
Oh, did I forget to mention
He looks a lot like you.

He strolled into our coffee shop,
He took your favorite chair,
And as he turned to greet me,
I imagined you were there.

As our chat became flirtatious
His charm was so much you,
I found myself inside his arms
Our desires were all but few

Oh, did I forget to mention?
He looked a lot like you

As the evening found the morning
And each one's passions grew,
I fixed myself around him and
And the love was all but new.

Yet in my midnight dreams I found you
Because he felt a lot like you.
Did I forget to tell you,
He felt a lot like you.

You were once a little guy,
So cute and such a joy,
In and out of mischief,
For such a little boy.
We shared fun and playdays,
But that can no longer be,
For you've grown up and big now,
And you've even grown bigger than me.
Through the years we have loved you,
And we still love you a lot,
Even though you've grown up and big,
And are no longer my little tot.
No matter how tall or big you grow,
Or what years have passed us by,
You will always and forever be
My Little Guy.

I remember when you were small
enough to fit inside the bend of my arm,
Your little hand wrapped around my finger,
They named you Gerald Wayne and called you Jerry.
With your happy smile, and your chatty talk,
You captured my heart right from the start
I tended to your needs, wiping tears, scraped-up knees,
Holding hands, and making sure I was near while you slept.
The little tot who played with dead flies,
On the windowsill, and crawling spiders.
The adventurous kid who caught tadpoles and frogs,
And wore nothing other than cutoff shorts,
No shirt, and sprinted around barefoot,
And learnt how to swim in an irrigation canal.
I watched you grow with open eyes,
From a little tot, to an on-the-go kid, to a teen,
To storms you should have never had to face.
Now you stand grown, with your battles behind you,
And still, when I look at you, I see a little boy
My heart never stopped protecting. I am proud of you
Proud of the man you fought to become.
Proud that the world did not harden
All the goodness out of you.
Brother, you were never just my brother,
You are a piece of my childhood.
A life I loved before I knew what the rest was all about.
And though you no longer need my hand to guide you
I will always remember the boy you were,
And always love the man you are.
No matter how grown you become,
You will always be the little boy I remember
And the man I will always love and be proud of..

In a tall oak tree, on a steep rugged hill
Sit's a small contented bird
She's a singing Whip-Poor-Will.
All though she's small in size
She sings a chanting shrill,
As we listen to her calls
From the echo of the hills.

On a warm summer eve,
It gives me such a thrill,
Listening to the calls from the
Chanting Whip-Poor-Will
Though she is very hard to see,
She is easily to hear
As the chanting of her songs,
Is like music to our ears.
As we listen to the calling,
Of the singing Whip-Poor-Will.

Preparation time: 40- something years
Serves two = 1 Couple

1-Cup of Affection
2-Cups of Desire

Mix together with
1-Cup of Humor
1-Pint of Compassion
1-Pint of Compromise

Blend With:
2-Gallons of Laughter

Beat thoroughly and add
3-Pints of Honesty
2-Pints of Loyalty
1-Quart of Forgiveness
4-Teaspoons Sweetness

Whip until Stiff
2-Nuts
1-Soft pinch
2-Pounds of Sex (raw)

Mix well and Stir Vigorously
4-Cups of Thoughtfulness
1-Cup of Tenderness

Add and whip until fluffy
2-Quarts each of Faith and Prayer

Pour in a never-ending amount of fun
and Romance whipping constantly.
Add Spice to taste,
Combine all ingredients, stir until blended.
Sprinkle generously over all with LOVE.
Heat with Passion, cut into larger portions
Serve hot and sizzling when appetite arises.

If ever there is a king of hearts
I've had one from the very start,
At every Baseball game I play
I hear his voice from far away
"You've got this, Sam."!! fills the air,
His voice is heard from everywhere.
He cheers each swing, each run, each throw,
Even when the scoreboards low.
It makes me proud and brave to hear,
Every mighty yell and cheer.
No crowns, no throne, no fancy carts,
He's my Dad, my fan
He's king of my heart.
