Gratitude For A Kind-Hearted Friend

I recently met a very kind, sweet soul that I am honored to now call my friend. They have made me so happy in such a short amount of time, and try as I might to thank this person, they always manage to be kinder and sweeter than I could ever find the words to thank them. I made this poem to try to express how thankful I am to have them appear in my life so suddenly. This poem is short but sweet, and I hope they know how thankful I am that we met.

A Kind-Hearted Angel

Your kindness has been blessed to me
From the stars above.
Your words all fill my heart with joy
And the utmost love.

You make me laugh and smile bright,
Filling me with joy of plenty.
You really have made my night
With your kind words of many.

How do you do it?
I would like to know,
For your words so skillfully fit,
Making my smile glow.

Your kindness has been blessed to me,
Sweeter than a dove.
You really are the sweetest thing,
An angel from above.
