Do you know how much she loves you?
Do you know how much she cares?
Do you know she would do anything for you?
Hurt you? She wouldn't dare!

Do you know how much
You hurt her each time you raise your fist?
Do you know you broke her spirit,
But alone it's you she'll miss!

Do you know she cares for nothing
Except being by your side?
Whatever she has to take,
She is ready for the ride.

In silence her heart is torn
Because she knows that you won't change,
But hasn't she suffered enough?
Hasn't she endured enough pain?

I blame myself for showing her
That all men can be mean.
She grew up in a home
Where she always heard me scream.

But think about what I'm saying
And understand all that I say.
She loves you beyond understanding;
Please love her the same way.

You truly have an angel,
A gift from God above.
Don't take her heart for granted.
Show her kindness, show her love.

A painful travel...

this circle of life which seems to be handed unfair.

For the wrong, consistent praise while those of right are unnoticed without a care.

The truth is almost never honored while the lies of man become so.....

The consequences for the crooked man are praised on a pedestal for show.

Hypocrites become our leaders while enemies become our friends

while the loyal and true stand sadly alone fighting til the bitter end.

So what do we say of this world that has raised such dishonorable man?

Have faith and never stop praying...remember who wins in the end!

This long awaited path with its twists and curves and turns
Has long awaited me and in my heart has burned
It's taken me down some roads that I never thought would end
But God wasn't willing to let me go and He kept holding my hand
This long awaited journey that seemed to lead to nowhere
Times of endless battle where God was waiting  for me to prepare
The dirt roads have been muddy with many obstacles to face
But God has paved them all with His mercy and His grace
The times I felt unworthy and thought I could not go on
He carried me through the storms that today seem long gone
I never take for granted all the blessing in my life
For God has made me worthy to have peace and not have strife

Silence

Silence.... No worthless words of nonsense and

chatter of this and that and things that don't matter

Of gossip and lies that flow from the tongue

Adding that extra from the old to the young

Silence....no blabbering ignorance or things of no
concern; no words of pain to make  a heart burn.

No answers to questions that were never asked or bringing up painful things of the past.

How easy for negative to be thrown from our lips or pieces of truth that are that but mean this.

How careless the tongue to be so very sharp because we don't forget the words; they can tear us apart.

Be kind and share love. Ask what would Jesus do? Stop blabbering you tongue and know that Jesus has you!

Because on your last days when you take your last breathe, what will you remember and what will others forget.
Will they speak

Of your lies and your breathe of deceit, will they cry from your passing and pretend to be meek?

Will they forget your good and remember the bad and when thoughts of you come, they become sad?

Silence is golden just listen, listen without word only then will your soul be heard.

The desire behind a kiss,
If not for you, I would not know
The things in love I'd missed.

If not for you, I would not know
That trust means everything,
And birds of a feather flock together,
So be careful of the song you sing.

If not for you, I would not know
The power of love's embrace,
Or how love could overcome trauma
When met face to face.

If not for you, I would not know
That love is a mighty sword,
That can carry a heavy load,
Giving peace through only the Lord.

If not for you, I would not know
How two become one,
Or how they walk together
Beneath God's holy Son.

If not for you, I would not know
How patience softens fear,
Or how a gentle hand can calm
The storms that linger near.

If not for you, I would not know
That vulnerability is strength,
That opening the deepest parts of me
Is worth the journey's length.

If not for you, I would not know
How healing often starts,
Not with grand and mighty moments,
But with two surrendered hearts.

If not for you, I would not know
The courage it takes to stay,
When yesterday still whispers doubts
And tries to steal today.

If not for you, I would not know
How forgiveness sets us free,
Not because the hurt was small,
But because love chose mercy.

If not for you, I would not know
That tears are not defeat,
Sometimes they are sacred waters
Where broken places meet.

If not for you, I would not know
How laughter heals the soul,
How joy can fill the empty spaces
And make the wounded whole.

If not for you, I would not know
The blessing found in prayer,
How two people seeking God as one
Can always find Him there.

If not for you, I would not know
The beauty of being known,
Of having someone see my flaws
And still choose me as their own.

If not for you, I would not know
That love is not a fleeting flame,
But a fire tended day by day
That remains despite the rain.

If not for you, I would not know
The comfort of a faithful friend,
A heart that stands beside my own
Through every bend and end.

If not for you, I would not know
How much my soul could grow,
How God can use another's love
His greater love to show.

If not for you, I would not know
That beauty can arise from pain,
That what the enemy meant for harm
The Lord can turn to gain.

If not for you, I would not know
That every season has its place,
The valleys teach us how to trust,
The mountains show God's grace.

If not for you, I would not know
The depth of what is true,
For through your love I've come to see
The heart of God shine through.

And if one day our hair turns gray
And time has slowed our pace,
I pray I'll still look at you
With wonder on my face.

For if not for you, I would not know
The countless gifts love brings,
The strength of two imperfect hearts,
The hope found under His wings.

And when I look back on this life,
Through every joy and test,
I'll thank the Lord for giving me you,
And know that I was blessed.

And there you stood in a stillness

Far from that I knew

But I watched you in such realness

Without envy but a love that grew

Young and full of God

A life I could not obtain

Addiction had me broken

My life, and made me so full of shame!

But there in my lowest

I knew God had placed you there

For such a greater purpose

When I thought no one would care

Those chains had bound my heart

Those desires had such a hold

My demons made me weak

And my addiction had made me cold.

Today I see such beauty in this path

That God has paved

For He took all the dirt

And a new foundation He has laid!

I want you to know I see you

The joy and even the pain

To walk with you through them both

And love you without gain!

To be your friend is such a blessing

To be someone who will give you strength

To cast your tears upon

To give you joy when you are weak.

To know you is a gift

To share in your life, is a blessing I know

One I will never take for granted

One that is sure to grow.

I love you at your weakest

And respect you when you are less

There you stood in a stillness

With you I feel so blessed!
