Of all the wonders you have done,
The events you planned, the races run.
The workload endured day by day,
The deeds that were completed along the way.
The list and schedules have no end,
The ups and downs and back again.
The lessons taught were more than a few,
None can compare to Wonder Mom you.

I'm just a simple writer
  I use not fancy words
I only write what's in my head
  With words from the old school
I like to tell some stories
   Some tales and even more
Of my own true life happenings
      That I have kept in store.
I like to write a poem or two
  And try to rhyme a verse
And if it sounds a little silly,
Then it won't be the first
I'm just a common person
   A poet now it seems,
If that's a fact I'll gladly accept
  The challenge of my dreams.
I'll keep on writing when I can
  To share some tales and woes
And hopefully the poems you read
  Will be a comfort to your soul.
The world will never rejoice or sing,
  Nor will I win a golden globe
But I will always be content
To pen what's in my heart and soul

When the day becomes an evening
And I've seen the passing sun
I know I've heard the last little chirp
Of songs the birds have sung

I am now seeing the darkness
As it suddenly appears
Now the passing of the sunlight
Quickly disappears

The blue skies are slowly fading
As the glowing hues stand bright
Forming deep bright colors
Against the ebony night

The moon has cast a shadow through
The broken puffy clouds
The stars have started twinkling
With their brightness shining down

As each moment comes the changing
Of the earth's most beautiful maze
That make up God's earthly beauty
With the closing of the day
