The happiest day of my life
Was when I first laid eyes on you
For you were like a gift from God
An Angel sweet and beautiful

Deep inside my tender heart
Actually felt your halo shine
I quickly knelt and prayed to God
And I asked Him to make you mine

The happiest day of my life
Was the day when I first kissed you
For I had never felt a kiss
So tender, soft and beautiful

But when I felt your gentle lips
I could have sworn I owned the world
Right then and there I knew for sure
You would forever be my girl

The happiest day of my life
I guess it has to be right now
For here I stand in front of God
Ready to make a Solemn Vow

A vow to have you as my wife
And to love you with all my heart
To honor you and cherish you
And say, "Until death do we part."

The happiest day of my life
Has to be on some future day
About fifty years down the road
Upon the death bed that I lay

For when God calls me on that day
If I still have you as my wife
I'll die on the happiest day
The happiest day of my life

“You are disgusting”
My wife says to me
When I passed some gas
While watching t.v.

With a guilty grin
I enter my plea
“Must have been the dog
‘Cause it wasn’t me"

“You are a liar”
My wife hollers back
"Came straight from your ass
I know for a fact

I told you before
Won’t tell you again
Go to the bathroom
Before you break wind.”

“You are disgusting”
I heard my wife say
When I passed some gas
While driving today

With a guilty laugh
I enter my plea
“Must be the exhaust
Cause it wasn’t me”

“You are a liar”
I once again hear
“Roll down the window
I need some fresh air

Now why can’t you be
Like me from the start
For I’m a lady
And ladies don’t fart”

"You are disgusting"
Words ran through my head
As I watched my wife
Asleep in our bed

Really felt guilty
Shame every man knows
When without notice
A smell hit my nose

I said to myself
"It sure ain't perfume"
As a fart odor
Spread through the bedroom

Couldn’t help but think
A man she must be
Cause ladies don’t fart
And that wasn’t me

My Valentine,
The sun wouldn't shine
If it weren't for your love.
From afar,
Every star
Would fall from up above.

My Valentine,
You're one of a kind,
You're unique and beautiful.
And forever,
We'll stay together,
My Darling me and you.

My Valentine,
I would go blind,
If I somehow couldn't see.
You surely will,
Forever still,
Be right there for me.

I am glad you're mine,
For you brighten up my world.
It is a joy
To just enjoy
The time spent with my girl.

A glass of wine
Could not be sweeter than you.

I'll forever praise
All the lovely things you do.

Forever still,
Call you "Gorgeous" and "Sweetheart."

I want to tempt the hands of fate
Take you out on a lovely date
Act like a perfect gentleman
Be as romantic as I can

I want to show up with flowers
Walk with you in April showers
Hold your hand and open the door
For the woman I do adore

I want to take you out to eat
Pull out your chair until you seat
In the fanciest restaurant
Tell you to order what you want

I want to sit by candlelight
With the mood and atmosphere right
Gazing into your lovely eyes
Sing love songs and sweet lullabies

I want to turn on all my charms
Hold you in my tender arms
As I am slow dancing with you
Softly whisper "You’re beautiful”

I want to count the stars above
With the woman I truly love
After that walk you to your door
So you can feel safe and secure

I want to be invited in
Gaze in loving eyes once again
As I watch them sparkle and shine
Open up a bottle of wine

I want to hope our next slow dance
Will lead to a night of romance
As we are dancing cheek to cheek
Feel your heart beat and knees go weak

I want to catch you as you fall
Let you know you’re a living doll
Make your body feel like a flame
When I softly whisper your name

I want to taste your honey lips
Feel the passion behind your kiss
Smell the aroma of perfume
As you lead me to your bedroom

I want to lay down by the side
Of my lover and future bride
On this wondrous and lovely night
Make love to you with all my might

I want to kiss your pretty head
As I am lying in your bed
Prove to you that my love is true
By telling you you’re beautiful

I want to give you all my love
Make you sparkle like stars above
Feel Heavenly and so divine
As you lie in these arms of mine

I want your heart to feel a flame
When I softly whisper your name
If it’s the last thing that I do
I want to make sweet love to you

My brother was always my best friend,
We would play sports and we'd just pretend.
I'd hit a homer, a goal he'd score,
You see I was Yaz and he was Orr.

As we grew up in The Project Courts,
Nothing mattered except for sports.
We never once thought about a girl,
As we lived in our fantasy world.

For in the courtyard in which we'd play,
The next Bobby Orr would proudly say.
"Ronnie, someday when I'm all grown up,
I'll help The B's win The Stanley Cup.

Score the winning goal in the last game,
And all of Boston will chant my name.
But till that day comes I guess once more,
You can be Yaz and I will be Orr."

Butchie and I played hockey for fun,
And we weren't out to hurt anyone.
But then came drugs, fast money and girls,
And playing sports wasn't in this world.

Because as the years went flying by,
Butchie's goal was to be a Wise Guy.
With the new meaning of the word "score",
They'd be no more Yaz and no more Orr.

I saw Butchie in the project court,
Where we had played every single sport.
His eyes were bugged and his vision blurred,
And when he spoke his speech was slurred.

His face was pale, his expression blank,
He told me he was robbing a bank.
I said, "Butchie, what about poor Ma?
Her heart can't take another scar".

But the madness in my brother's eyes,
Brought out the sadness in my cries.
For there was hatred not seen before,
Back when I was Yaz and he was Orr.

And on the day he was sent to jail,
I had a vision that seemed so real.
I pictured him on a breakaway,
I saw him wink and I heard him say.

"Ronnie, someday when I'm all grown up,
I'll help The B's win The Stanley Cup.

As fate would have it, it was his name,
That truly was Butchie's claim to fame.
But in my heart I just wish once more,
I could be Yaz and he could be Orr.

All the times I didn't support you.
For all the times I failed to shine,

For all the times I have let you down,
And all the times I made you frown.
For all the times I blew your mind,

For all the times I told a lie,

For all the times that I was blind,

For all the times you have missed me,
And all the times you have kissed me.
For all the times your lips touched mine,

For all the times we made sweet love,
Al the times we prayed to God above.
For that little girl, sweet daughter of mine,
Darling, won't you be my Valentine?

For all the hurt and all the tears,
The good times throughout the years.
For all the time you have been mine,
Darling, won't you be my Valentine?

You came to the world,
On a God blessed night.
Your limbs were all there,
Your heart beat just right.
Your sweet, precious smile,
Brought both pride and joy,
And I proudly said,
"That's my little boy".

As your proud father,
I said that I must.
Teach my precious child,
Love, honor and trust.
I had to treat you,
So tender and mild.
For I was your Dad,
And you were my child.

I knew child abuse,
Had been on the rise.
And many a child,
Had tears in their eyes.
More often than not,
The culprit was known.
So I promised you,
You'd not be alone.

For you were my son,
And I was your trust.
As your proud father,
I said that I  must.
Protect my young son,
From being defiled.
And keep my eyes on,
My precious young child.

For deep down inside,
Your Dad knew for sure.
That when you grew up,
You'd want to explore.
Your innocent eyes,
Somehow wouldn't see.
How cruel and unkind,
That this world could be.

So each day I watched,
With fatherly love.
I taught you to trust,
In God up above.
I never forgot,
The first time you smiled.
Or how I promised,
To protect my child.
