Dad's Day

If Dad could be a kid again
for just an hour or so,
I'll bet we'd have a lot of fun.
Now here's how things might go-

We'd rustle up a bag of snacks
and head down to the creek
to skip across on stepping stones
and give the fish a peek.

I'd test him out to see if he
could go as fast as I,
and if he slipped and fell, guess what,
I'd help the little guy.
