The night that scares me the worst
It is October the thirty-first.
I must always be on my guard,
walking past a neighbor's yard.

Anything could jump out at me,
Causing me to have to pee.
It may be a werewolf or a ghost,
But skeletons scare me the most.

Children in costumes walk the streets,
collecting free candy and treats.
Everyone tries to scare you
by loudly screaming, boo!

If I make it through the night
without a vampire's bite
or a witch's magic spell
I will have a great story to tell.
