Sacrifices For Love

Flying through the clouds
Was a dream to me.
Reaching for the stars
Felt like breaths away.
Finding you falling into my arms
Made me want to stay,
But bleeding just for love
Was my first mistake.

The way you looked into my eyes
Felt like magic.
The way you held my hands
Made me feel safe.
The way you spoke to me
Was the trap you set for me.

Couldn't believe that you lied to me.

Fire came upon us.
Everything burned.
Everything had fallen apart,
Breaking into dust,
Turning into ashes
That has been blown away
By the wind
As time passed...
