She Once Held A Dream
This tale's of someone who once held a dream
Till the day she fell apart at the seams.
A dream that vanished up into thin air
That left its trail of sorrow and despair.
Saying goodbye to your lover is a heartbreaking moment. You feel as if a part of you is being separated and going of to do something else. You are used to relying on each other for everything. Every decision from the smallest to the largest is made with the consultation of your life partner. When you are separated, you must accustom yourself to living single. You don't have the constant reassurance of having someone to lean one. This feeling takes getting used to. Hopefully you will not be alone for long.

In every room of our time together there is a box
Of memories we shared.
Now is the time to pack away
With sadness and with care.
I know that this poem is intended for divorce but when my father died my Mum wanted a poem that summed up her feelings. They had been separated for 25 years but they stayed married. Still...
You held my hand so tight.
We watched the stars all night,
But still I realize
There's something in your eyes.

I've never felt so alone.
The tears stream down my face.
I only want to feel you
And lie there in my space.
I could fill the oceans with the tears I've cried
Or cover the entire earth with blankets of failed tries.
Countless times what I thought was truth became a lie.
Everything is falling apart, and I'm sick of asking why.
Tears of blood fall from my broken heart.
I never thought we would be apart.
When you held me, you said "forever."
I have this "friend" who said he loves me when we first met. I told him I didn't love him that way, so we became friends for about two years. He made a bet to make me fall for him about 3...

It is a terrifying thing
to watch love
walk in your direction
when you believe
Very well written and, in my opinion, very true. I like it and agree totally with it.
I will always love you; this much is true.
How to do this, I haven't a clue.
So here it goes, the only way I know how
It's time for us to leave,
But I wish that we could wait.
This has been dreaded for too long,
And I'm not ready for this pain.
I've been dancing since I was two years old. Now I'm a senior in high school, and I'm quitting once I graduate. The reason I'm quitting isn't because I don't love it. I do, but I'm not at a...
When I am dead and over me bright April
Shakes out her rain-drenched hair,
Tho' you should lean above me broken-hearted,
I shall not care.
The poem "I Shall Not Care" by Sara Teasdale is beautifully written tho' it does cause the reader to wonder what pain and hurt she was going through at the time of writing, the thought...
