My Little Big Brother
in Brother Poems
I remember when you were small
enough to fit inside the bend of my arm,
Your little hand wrapped around my finger,
They named you Gerald Wayne and called you Jerry.

Of all the wonders you have done,
The events you planned, the races run.
The workload endured day by day,
The deeds that were completed along the way.
Well done, Judy, your poems are always a pleasure to read. Very best wishes, Ann.
Such a vivid beautiful poem. Well described. I saw a picture of my daughter and her dad out in an open field, the wind blowing through her hair, and her a small tyke holding on to the kite string, looking up and feeling the fun adventures of flying the kite in the wind.

This poem is so cute. Good writing. My husband and I were in Branson, Missouri, visiting and while standing outside, a big butterfly came flying by. It flew around and around, so I put my hand out and she landed in the palm of my hand and just sat there. My husband took pictures. I have since written a poem about that beautiful butterfly.

Your poem is beautiful, Heather. You ask for what we need the most in order to be able to live for our Lord. We certainly need his guidance so we can be faithful, obedient, show grace and kindness. He will help us all the way. We just need to ask in prayer just like you did in the poem. God bless you.

This is a beautiful famous story that sooo many children have heard probably every year. I know us five kids heard it over and over, and I read it to my three children. They still have the book from when I was young. It's amazingly magical. We all love it. Thanks for the joy you have given us.

I love this poem. We just all need to be more thankful, more than one day a year.
